One of the major aspects of Fraternity and ZBT in particular is involvement with philanthropic organizations and Community Service. The following are some of the organizations that we support and work with:

• COSAC: The New Jersey Center for Outreach and Services for the Autistim Community
  • Our annual Get on the Ball week long event benefits COSAC (We have raised 1250 dollars for them!)

• Rutgers University Dance Marathon
  • Rutgers University Dance Marathon is the biggest philanthropy in new jersey and has raised over a million dollars for the institute for children with cancer (located in New Brunswick). Zeta Beta Tau's Pavan Katepalli (the philanthropy chairman) is the assistant director of communication of Dance Marathon and Jeff Hassan is a technology captain for the Marathon. Zeta beta Tau participates in Dance Marathon every year by volunteering and dancing. Historically, Zeta Beta Tau are the founders of the Rutgers University Dance Marathon.

• T- Bird Foundation. (Traumatic Brain Injury Recovery Drive) formerly the Russ Wardlow Fund (see www.getwellruss.com)

• We also host a self defense seminar that we also teach. We show women techniques to get out of a rape situation and defensive techniques for a knife situation. Three of our members are black belts in Taekwondo (Christopher Brooks, Wyatt Koller and Pavan Katepalli).
